Intra-Oral Cameras

An intra-oral camera.

An intra-oral camera is a 35 mm camera on a wand that we use to take photos of teeth inside the mouth.

We have been using intra-oral cameras since 1997.

The photos are magnified about 30 times so you can see what we see.

Upon viewing a photo, you can see a diagnosed cavity like we can. This technology is helpful.

The intra-oral camera is the best communication device we have chairside to show you what we see.

Seeing your own teeth under magnification is fun for us to watch you explore and be curious.

We wouldn’t do dentistry without it as it allows us to show the insurance companies what we did and why it needed to be done so they can promptly pay you a benefit.
