Braces and clear aligners do the same thing; they are both used to move teeth into better positions.

Braces are still useful when intercepting orthodontic problems in young children when cooperation is an issue and clear aligners can go missing. Braces are attached to the teeth and cannot go missing like clear aligners.

Braces can be made to be fun for young kids with coloured elastics. Braces are more comfortable than when parents were younger because the wires now are more flexible and gentler, and the teeth don’t get as tender when they move.
