After we meet our guests at a new patient exam, future exams will be conducted during a hygiene appointment.

Getting you well and keeping you in wellness is our goal.

Your hygiene frequency may be every 3, 4, 6, 9 or 12 months depending on your home care ability and the level of gum disease we are treating.

Your dental exams may be every 6, 9 or 12 months depending on your level of wellness achieved, acidity of your mouth and decay rate. For those in our Protective Prevention program that are doing well, an exam once every 24 months may be possible because Protective Prevention gets you well on your terms with you in control.

Our goal is to literally put the dentist out of work for the long term if not the rest of your life. Your hygienist will keep you on track and the dentist will check in for an exam to ensure your wellness is being upheld and oral cancer is screened at least once per year with the hygienist and doctor ideally.
