Joumana Salame, DDS., MSc. MS, Dip.Perio.,FRCD(C)
I am committed to building strong relationships with all my patients based on clear communications and great service. My goal is to assist in educating the public in the critical link between oral health and overall systemic health. My service philosophy includes attention to details that support continuity of care between healthcare providers to create effortless transitions between general dental teams and my team. I make myself easily accessible to my patients at the practice or after procedures by telephone for follow up.
Education and Continuing Education
I received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit, Mercy School of Dentistry. I then completed a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University Of Manitoba in Canada and earned a certificate in Periodontology and Oral Implantology. This was closely followed by a second Master of Science in Oral Biology from Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry. I hold several National and International Professional memberships including a current Fellowship of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Outside the office
I am originally from Edmonton and speak English, French and Arabic fluently. Outside of the practice I very much enjoy my time with family, walking and reading.
